Terrestrial Environmental Effects Monitoring
The Wood Buffalo Environmental Association is concerned not only with ambient air quality in the Wood Buffalo region, but also with the effects of air emissions on the environment.
To this end, the Terrestrial Environmental Effects Monitoring (TEEM) Program was designed to detect, characterize and quantify the impacts of air emissions on terrestrial ecosystems and on traditional land resources.
The overall objective of TEEM is to monitor air related (cause) impacts on natural ecosystems (effects) so that stakeholders can make informed decisions.
