*Note: AMS 10 was retired due to mining in the location. It has been replaced with AMS 16 which is 4km SE of the former AMS 10 site.

The Purpose:
Pine needle wax chemistry has been shown to be a responsive, specific and representative indicator of tree receptor exposure to air pollutants in North America. This project will evaluate this indicator for inclusion in 2011 and future forest health monitoring programs. Needle samples collected will be assessed to determine specific laboratory sampling protocols.
